South-western Langur

        Shiny  Brown grey coat and black face. Crestless with backward-looped tail seen while walking. Widespread distribution in the Western India. While sitting height up to 2.5 feet, average height 9 to 16kg. Performs sentry-like duties by alarming group members and other herbivores on approach of predators.Newborns are playful and seem much tolerated in the group.
